Although sockets can only be added to a handful of gear slots, therefore narrowing the concern to just a handful of items, this is particular importance to plate classes using Allied Wristguard of Companionship and Unstable Frostfire Belt, although it’s worth noting that the Jewelcrafting Signet of Titanic Insight always comes with a socket, so it should not be affected. Although the post specifies sockets added through the Great Vault, it’s not entirely clear if this includes extra sockets added to neckpieces with the Tiered Medallion Setting, although those are at least much easier to replace.
