Today I bring you my updated Dragonflight: Patch 10.1 TSM Import String. Thanks to the help of Wowhead, I think I have an excellent foundation for any of you looking for a headstart with all the new items in Dragonfight: Patch 10.1.

Before I start, it’s beneficial to inform you that if you don’t have TradeSkillMaster (TSM) already, download it here! If you’re looking into Gold-Making, this is, without a doubt, the best Add-on!

Disclaimer:
While I have taken every opportunity to ensure no mistakes in this TSM Import String, you may inadvertently experience issues. To reduce any potential problems, please backup up your current TSM Profile. If you experience any issues, revert to your backup!
If you have TSM Premium, you will already have backups available.
Do not panic if you experience any lag upon importing; this is normal, while the Add-on imports a lot of data. You may also experience a slight delay when looking at items within the groups; this is merely the Add-on syncing with the data. An example of this is question marks instead of items within groups.
The TSM Import String:
To use my Dragonflight Patch 10.1 TSM Import String, you must visit my Pastebin and copy and paste the text into your TSM Add-on (in-game). As a reminder, please ensure you’ve backed up your TSM profile!
If you’re importing into a pre-built TSM profile, untick the option to move already grouped items. This option prevents you from accidentally importing and moving things you already have set up. I’ll mention this a few times throughout this post.
Once you’ve imported everything and are happy with your structured groups and sub-groups, enter /reloadui to save all your work within the TSM Add-on!

Importing:
If you have your own TSM Profile, feel free to use your current profile and import what you need from mine. When you import the string, if you import anything already grouped, ensure you untick the box to move items you already have grouped.
Failure to untick the box will move already grouped items. Please take extra care if importing to a pre-built profile.
Shopping & Auctioning Operations:
Previously, I didn’t add any Shopping & Auctioning Operations to my TSM Strings. On this occasion, each section has its own default shopping and posting operation. While the default operations serve as a quick fix, I urge you to create your own Operations.
TSM has an excellent section helping you understand Price Sources in a bid to assist you in creating your own Operations. It’s imperative that you create your own Operations; this prevents issues and, more importantly, prevents malicious intent.
Professions:
The most significant update came from Obsidian Combatant’s gear; I have input all the base pieces (ilvl 330) for their relevant professions. You’ll notice that Engineering has some Obsidian Combatant’s Goggles this time.
Battle Pets:
In my previous versions, I didn’t add the Battle Pets; however, I’ve decided to on this occasion. Before I go into greater detail, I must stress this section is not my work. Billisonyxia has painstakingly collected the data for all Battle Pets and created these groups.
While updating most items in-game is more straightforward now (thanks to importing via the base group), sadly, the Battle Pets are not. Can I ask if you appreciate his work as much as I do? I invite you to visit his platforms and show your appreciation.
Before you import the Battle Pets, you must understand your options. The base Battle Pets ignore the level, rarity, and breed and will shop and post auctions that match the Battle Pet by name. I call this lazy mode.
However, if you import both level 1’s and level 25’s, you can shop Battle Pets by name, rarity, and level. If you buy and sell just level 25’s, only import the level 25 Battle Pets.
BoEs:
Within the BoEs section, there’s no change here – there’s also no sign of any Raid BoEs from Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible. The highlight is the Uncommon ilvl 232 (level 60) armor. Ilvl 232 armor pieces for a level 60 player are in demand due to the scaling.
Although Dragonflight: Patch 10.1 sees the introduction of Heirloom upgrades increasing to level 70, the Heirlooms do not scale better than the ilvl 232 BoEs for a level 60 character.
For example, an Heirloom piece at level 60 is ilvl 187, considerably lower than the ilvl 232 Uncommon BoEs. If you’d like to read more about this, check out my blog post: Heirlooms in Dragonflight.
BoE Recipes:
There are many new BoE recipes in Dragonflight: 10.1. More importantly, the Obsidian Combatant’s recipes. Like in 10.0, these recipes will be expensive at the beginning of the patch and slowly fall in value as the competition increases.
The Obsidian Combatant’s gear will be a quick stepping stone for players looking to play PvP in Patch 10.1. So consider whether you want to sell the recipes or learn them to craft the gear.
Mail Convenience:
I created this category to mail Bind on Account items to your alts efficiently. If you’re like me, I have a designated character to mail and stock all my Bind on Account items. If this option also applies to you, consider using this category I’ve set up.
Make sure you create a mailing operation and assign your target character. Be sure to enter the name correctly, and if applicable, enter the realm too. As this section is predominantly for Bind on Account items, there shouldn’t be any risk of mailing items to anyone apart from yourself!
Also included in this group are the Bind on Account insignia for each Renown in Dragonflight. If you’ve reached maximum Renown, you’ll know that future reputation rewards are via Bind on Account insignia, which you can send to alts.
I’ve also added the Primalist Bind on Account gear, with sub-groups separated by their armor type, cloth, Leather, Mail, and Plate.
Artisan Curios:
In my previous TSM String, I didn’t add the Artisan Curios. However, this time around, I have! These may still be profitable to craft and post at the Auction House.
Customizing the Profile:
While it took me some time to create this profile, I designed the groups and sub-groups as cleanly as possible. Please feel free to customize the profile however you wish. Consider the profile as a foundation.
