The first weekly reset of World of Warcraft Dragonflight season two is coming on in hot on May 16 and the Blizzard devs are buffing DPS specs that simply couldn’t catch a break since the opening of the expansion.
Blizzard has prepared a very extensive list of changes for the first weekly reset, including much-needed buffs like Frost Killers, Frost Mages, Elemental Shamans, Havoc Demon Hunters, and Affliction Warlocks.
While Frost Moors, who have received first buff in weeks and how many damage they have caused, received straight buffs to their damage-dealing abilities by 4, 2 and 3 percent, respectively. Although besides that, Havoc Demon Hunters have not been meta for five minutes, and Blizzard was tempted to move their Chaos Strike, First Blood and Inner Demon with a large amount of money.
Although there’s no guarantee this specs will top priority in Aberrus, Shadowed Crucible and Mythic+ dungeons, buffs of Frost Death Knight are looking quite exciting and could be top of DPS charts. The Warlock buffs will likely not have a big impact on their performance in PvE, given the talent bloat, lack of agency with DoTs and poor soul-same generation.
Still, we might be wrong and Affliction Warlocks and Frost Mages could come out of this weekly reset blasting and proving all the doubters wrong. Keep your eyes on these Dark Nights and Goldened Demon Hunters at this weekly reset.
