In The Beginning…
A story that takes us back to the very beginning, a time in which the planet of Azeroth housing the spirit of a Titan, was deeply infected by the corruption of the Old Gods. A time in which the Black Empire ruled the world, firmly holding the Elemental Lords enslaved to their will, basking in the madness of the Void. The Titans’ might was so great that they could have easily ripped out the Old Gods and got rid of them – which they did with the Old God Y’shaarj, but doing so proved to do far too much damage to the planet and that spirit inside. So deep had the Old Gods rooted within her, so another plan was needed.
Other forces, empowered by the Titans, would have to do the fighting for them, and so Tyr and the other Keepers were molded from the world’s crust itself. The Titan Aggramar imparted his strength and courage to Keeper Tyr, who would become the greatest warrior of these so called Titan-Forged. Armed with an immense hammer and his conviction, Tyr went to war. At his side was Keeper Odyn as they took on the most destructive enslaved elemental lieutenant: Ragnaros the Firelord. Their battle raged for weeks, engulfing the land in fire and magma, giving Odyn that beautiful beard that he has. Through sheer strength and force of will, Tyr and Odyn defeated the Firelord and would go on with the others to vanquish the Black Empire itself.
Whereas the Elemental Lords were sent to their own elemental planes, the Old Gods were imprisoned within subteranian prisons. They then went to work, bringing the Titans’ order to the planet, healing her wounds, setting up a future for Azeroth. Eventually, the Titans looked upon the planet and saw their work was done. They hoped that one day that beautiful spirit would awaken, uncorrupted, but that would take some time – so they left the planet in the care of the Keepers and went off in search of more of their kind.
Tyr and the Proto-Dragons
So the Keepers were left behind to keep an eye on the place, but the war with the Old Gods and the ordering of Azeroth had sapped quite a bit of their collective strength and willpower. They had become indifferent to the world at large, focused solely on maintaining their vaults and arcane machineries.
Not our boy Tyr though. The mightiest of the Keepers had a drive to seek justice and order in the world which pushed him ever forward – and while the Old Gods and the Elemental Lords were locked away, that didn’t fully stop them from influencing events upon the surface.
For example, the origin of the proto-dragons lies with the evolution of the elements that managed to avoid imprisonment. Some of them would become primal – early proto-dragons – and branch out into different variations. Gaining abilities like ice breath or greater command over fire, or enforced hides imbued with earth.
Tyr had quite the interest in these growing proto-dragons. On the Dragon Isles we join the Dragonscale Expedition and unlock the Hall of Records, where none have gone for millenia as it was sealed off by Tyr himself. The Hall of Samples has proto-dragons flying around that have managed to escape their pods. On the walls we can see their evolution displayed from egg to fully grown, and projections of Tyr gives us more details on his findings:
The element of fire has seen one of the most successful adoption rates of the species, with subjects able to hurl globes of fire hot enough to melt metal. Additionally, those infused with fire are responsible for more attempted outbreaks than the other proto-dragons combined.
Air:
Infused with the element of air, this dragon has gained the ability to express gusts of wind from its body, resulting in an effective, if rudimentary, deterrent for nearby foes. The fact that this does not result in an equal, but opposing force applied to the dragon implies the process is innately magical as opposed to mechanical.
Earth:
This proto-dragon has been imbued with the element of earth. It exhibits an increase in scale density with a minor reduction in flexibility compared to baseline proto-dragons. Three separate incidents have been recorded where the dragon has nearly breached the containment sphere.
Ice:
Infused with the element of water, this proto-dragon has lost its fire breathing capabilities and gained an equally lethal ability in its stead–the frozen possibilities of ice. The fact that a proto-dragon’s complete inversion of their elemental tendency is not only possible, but so thorough, generates an intriguing thought exercise.
Is there any element–or even energy–that, given the appropriate conduit, vessel, and time, proto-dragons are unable to integrate?
An interesting question, as a massive variation would rise up.
Galakrond and the Dawn of the Aspects
According to a report done by Tyr, the mutation of Galakrond was caused by Yogg-Saron. His many eyes gazed upon the world and its size would eventually make him so hungry that he started to hunt his own kind. Not even that was enough to sustain him though. So insatiable was he that he started to puke out what ever he devoured only for those poor things to rise in undeath and then be devoured once more. A threat that the Keepers would have taken care of, was it not for their lethargy.
And so Keeper Tyr struck an allegiance with five extraordinary proto-dragons: Alexstrasza, Ysera, Neltharion, Malygos and Nozdormu. Their union would bring the Goliath low, but not before Tyr would lose his hand. The monstrous creature bit it off, suffusing him with necrotic energy.
Although Tyr survived, his wound would never truly heal. Many years later, he’d ask the aid of the giant Jotun to replace his hand with one forged of pure silver. Then they reshaped his hammer to hold the same symbol too, which caused Jotun to ask him why Tyr wanted to draw more attention to his wound. the Keeper replied that he did not consider his argent hand a reminder of defeat. For him it was a symbol of the sacrifice he had made to defend Azeroth, and he wanted the world to see it that way as well. When Jotun finished reshaping the hammer, Tyr named his weapon the Silver Hand – and that would indeed inspire others to take up the same name for their faction.
Back to Galakrond – the beast showed Tyr and the other Keepers who’d finally showed up that the world could always use more heroes… well, nearly all of them. Keeper Odyn was fully against the idea of turning these proto-dragons into the Aspects and having them help safeguard Azeroth. He saw them as primitive and, considering how the Titans had made him the Prime Designate, he thought that the others should do as he said. But they ignored him, called upon their creators, and empowered the five into the Dragon Aspects – and turned a whole bunch of their kind into dragons as well. Odyn was not happy about this and took a piece of Ulduar into the sky to make his own worthy protectors, the Valarjar.
We also learned that Tyr messed around with an ancient wellspring at the Halls of Infusion – waters that flowed with the eternal essence of Azeroth have been polluted by their Order magic and then channeled to feed the Life Pools of the Red Dragonflight. Progress Report: Uldorus, which is that report from Tyr to Loken, says that it was the domain of the Void, the Old God Yogg-Saron which managed to compromise these living waters and triggered the evolution of Galakrond as it consumed unfiltered water. So somehow Yogg-Saron was able to corrupt this ancient wellspring, and now Tyr changes the corruption from Void to Order.
Once purification is complete, an additional benefit will be found in offering the infused water to dragonkind.
By ingesting the water (or causing their eggs to absorb its effects), it should be possible to keep even the most willful dragons aligned with the titans’ philosophies.
Our efforts to bring the proto-dragons in line have faced resistance, but I am formulating a strategy to speed the process along.
And therein lies the basis of the conflict that’s replayed during Dragonflight. The domain of Order, the Dragon Aspects allied with Tyr, and the vision of the Titans versus the Primal Incarnates – proto-dragons unwilling to fall in line with their vision of the world. That’s what they fought over before when the Aspects were at their full might and they barely managed to win. Now there’s a do-over, and perhaps a great opportunity to look at their actions – look at their friend Tyr’s actions, and wonder how much of their allegiance comes from their own will and how much has been infused within them through these tainted waters? An interesting story possibility – which I hope we’ll see in the future.
Corruption of Keeper Loken
For now, with the empowerment of the Aspects, the creation of Uldorus or Tyrhold as we know it, the world of Azeroth kept on turning and once again, the Old God Yogg-Saron would cause some massive problems. They weren’t down with being locked away within Ulduar and so, seizing upon the weakness of the Keepers, they went to work. Manipulating and corrupting Keeper Loken to then take out the others one by one. The curse of flesh was thrown into their machinery, into their forged creations like the Vrykul, Earthen, Mechagnomes and others. This curse of flesh, as the name implies, gave their victims flesh and would make them more vulnerable to the Old Gods’ corruption. In turn, it also gave birth to races like humans, dwarves and gnomes – creatures that would one day rise up and take care of the Old Gods.
Tyr and his ally Archaedas had not fallen victim to Loken’s schemes yet, but at the same time also couldn’t charge into Ulduar and take care of business. There were too many enemy forces to pull off a plan like that – so instead they took their friend, a Titan-forged giantess named Ironaya, and decided to pull back. Wait and watch to see Loken’s schemes unfold. The fallen Keeper, in turn, sent out his forces to hunt down Tyr and his companions, while being fearful of the Titans or watcher Algalon finding out what he had done and punishing him. But in truth, the greatest threat was right beneath Loken’s feet. No longer under the watchful eyes of Ulduar’s jailors, Yogg-Saron began to stir, working to free itself from its impregnable prison.
In the ages that followed, we would see the Winterskorn war play out. Volkhan and Ignis trying to claim the Stormpeaks surrounding Ulduar with Tyr and his allies, even the Aspects themselves fighting back and putting an end to it. With the Winterskorn defeated, Tyr finally decided to take action. They had to do something about Ulduar and Loken or Azeroth would spiral into an abyss of war and chaos, but overthrowing Loken would require years of preparation and they were going to need all the intel they could get.
As luck would have it, there was something called the discs of Norgannon within Ulduar, which had been recording everything that had happened on Azeroth ever since the Titans had left – including Loken’s betrayal. If there was any hope of undoing the damage caused by his schemes, it would be through the careful study of his actions.
Death of Tyr
While Tyr distracted Loken, Archaedas and Ironaya infiltrated Ulduar and stole the discs. They then gathered a whole bunch of the peaceful Titan-forged like the Vrykul, Earthen, and Mechagnomes. Their journey took them south, knowing that Loken would soon hunt them down, but not even they could have predicted the extremes he was willing to go to. His fear of punishment was so great that he released some of the most ruthless and cunning C’Thraxxi generals that had been locked away after their war against the Black Empire. Zakazj and Kith’ix could sense the touch of Yogg-Saron on his mind, and so they followed along with the Keeper’s desires and quickly tracked down Tyr and his allies…
Keeper Tyr says: Get to safety, my loyal vrykul. I will hold them off.”
Ironaya says: These horrors are too many and too strong. We will proceed as one and aid you against Zakajz.
Keeper Tyr says: No. Protect the vrykul. I will deal with Zakajz.
Archaedas says: We will await your return.
Keeper Tyr says: I am here, Zakajz. Stop this.
Zakajz says: Ah, my pursuit from Ulduar is at an end. If I had known a few dead vrykul was all it took to get your attention… I would have killed them all!
Keeper Tyr says: That I would not allow. The vrykul stand at my side. They are not like your kind… Kith’ix has abandoned you.
Zakajz says: My kind? Ha ha ha! Order does not protect against betrayal. The vrykul may stand with you… But what of your dragon pets, the Aspects? They will betray you Tyr. All of them. Would you like to see?”
(Corrupted) Malygos says: Magic…it is not for small-minded mortals!
(Corrupted) Neltharion says: The Old Gods…We will all succumb to their will in the end.
(Corrupted) Nozdormu says: My failure is…inevitable. Murozond is inevitable.
(Corrupted) Ysera says: I will die…and the Dream itself will become corrupted.
Here we’re witnessing Tyr’s final memory, and we now know that Zakajz was telling the truth – all of the Aspects shown would fall to the darkness of the Old Gods as he predicted… but what does that mean for their queen Alexstrasza?
(Corrupted) Alexstrasza the Life-Binder says: Even me, the beating heart of the Aspects, wil betray you, Tyr.
Keeper Tyr says: WIll Alexstrasza become corrupted like the others? How?
<Zakajz laughs manically>
Keeper Tyr says: Enough! Your games end here, Zakajz!
(Corrupted) Alexstrasza the Life-Binder says: You are broken, Tyr. You have failed and your vrykul will perish. Corruption will claim you all. Even your precious Aspects.
<(Corrupted) Alexstrasza the Life-Binder laughs manically>
Keeper Tyr says: Perhaps you will be proved right that mortals are weak and destined to fall into darkness. Yet the courage of the Aspects, and the promise of the mortals, fill me with hope. Hope that they will carry on the titans’ legacy. So if by the destruction of this body you are purged from this world…so be it.
<Zakajz screams in pain>
Tyr stood strong in his faith for his dragon allies and mortals of the world even at the very end, sacrificing all he had to put an end to Zakajz. The question is, of course, will he be right about Alexstrasza as well? The Void deals in a thousand truths, and while they were right about the others, the Void does not know the future as a certainty.
A thousand truths and possibilities mean an equal amount of possible lies. There’s a possibility that what they have shown will become truth, only time will tell. Personally, I doubt that’s the path for the queen, but again time will tell…
For our Keeper, unleashing all that he had caused such a massive eruption of magic that it could be seen across the horizon. Archaedas and Ironaya returned to the site of the battle and found the lifeless bodies of their friend and Zakazj. The glade was named in honor of the Keeper, Tyr’s Fall, which in the Vrykul tongue translated into Tirisfal. There they buried Tyr, his weapon, and his foe, where they lay placing his massive silver hand atop his final resting place as a memorial to his valiant sacrifice.
Tyr’s Guard
Although all of the refugees would carry on the story of Tyr, the Vrykul in particular felt compelled to do something more. They were so moved by the Keeper’s deeds that they decided to settle at the battle site and stand vigil over Tyr’s grave until the end of their days. That was a bit of a problem though as the Vrykul were not exactly immortal, and yet they still needed people to take up their sacred charge.
With the rise of the human – Vrykul evolved with the curse of flesh – they decided to recruit those into their so-called Tyr’s Guard. Teaching them the history of the fallen Keeper, his tenants of self-sacrifice and justice, and the truth of what lay within the tomb. An organization that would carry on their duty even when their king Thoradin, the first king of the humans, showed up and demanded access, messing with the wards inside and nearly awakening the beast. Even when the Scourge swept over their kingdom and the now paladins of the Tyr’s guard fell in great numbers to the undead might.
All the way through the ages until the expansion Legion, where heroes of the world – Warriors, Priests, and Paladins – would show up to enter Tyr’s tomb and claim mighty artifacts in their war against the Burning Legion. By that time the Tyr’s guard had crumbled to only a few remaining lead by Travard.
Travard says: I will complete the ritual to release the Hammer and collapse the tomb, but we must be quick. I can sense evil emanating from the tomb.
Travard says: At last we can begin! After the ritual is complete and we have the hammer, the complex will collapse, sealing Tyr’s resting place forever.
Travard says: Something is wrong. One of the other sparks isn’t here!
Travard says: Wait, I can sense it below, probably taken by one of those monsters. We must have it! We will begin the search when you are ready, champion.
Travard says: This chasm oozes darkness… Light protect us! That thing has what we need. Prepare yourselves, friends.
Travard yells: NO! They are… gone!
Travard says: The last of my brothers and sisters. I am all that remains of the Tyr’s Guard.
Travard says: I have the Spark. The battle this place has seen has warped reality too much. We must finish this now.
Mordoth the Hunter says: Why… flee? The Void… inevitable…
Travard yells: That thing is too powerful! Focus on staying alive and keep it at bay!
Travard yells: Just a few more moments! Stay strong!
Travard yells: It is done. Quickly, <name>, take up the hammer! In so doing, you will ensure Tyr’s remains are protected for all time!
The player retrieves The Silver Hand.
Travard yells: We have the hammer! Everyone, run! The tomb is collapsing!
Morgoth the Hunter yells: Your escape… means nothing. Will find you again…
Travard says: Apologies for the hasty retreat! The tomb’s collapse was triggered by the hammer’s removal.
Travard says: Though his halls are no more, Tyr is now protected by several tons of stone and water. The prison is buried as well.
Travard says: I can think of no one better to hold the Silver Hand, wield it well. Return to Tyrosus and tell him of our success. We will meet again.
We’ll meet again, Travard promised us, and Mordoth the Hunter also said that they would find us again. To my knowledge, that part never happened – however we did recently learn that Mordoth showed up before in the past – While Tyr was holding the line against the C’Thraxxi.
Travard says: That’s the fiend that attacked my order! So…it was after Tyr all this time?
That’s quite a long time to keep up the hunt, and so that’s where the original Keeper Tyr is buried even to this day.
The Silver Scale
Millennia have passed without his presence on Azeroth, which left the Dragonflights to do what they did. As shown by Zakajz, some of them would fall to corruption – but as hoped by Tyr, mortals also rose up until their greatest sacrifice at the end of the Cataclysm, in which they gave up a huge chunk of their power to stop Deathwing and by extension the Old God N’zoth. This has left some of the flights without Aspects altogether. Others still had their Aspects but were severely depowered or never empowered at all. Quite recently they have appointed Ebonhorn to pick up the charge as Aspect for the Black Dragonflight, but again that’s title only and not the incredible powers that came with the job.
We have tried to restore their powers at the start of Dragonflight, which didn’t exactly work. Then we were invited, seeing how we were a true ally to the flights, to share in a gift passed on to them by keeper Tyr himself. A dragon scale forged of purest silver…
Alexstrasza the Life-Binder says: This gift from Tyr is precious to us. A final remembrance of a treasured friend.
Nozdormu says: His deeds, and his courage, will never be forgotten.
Kalecgos says: You have told me stories of that time, but I’ve never seen the relic he gave you.
Alexstrasza the Life-Binder says: We kept it in a place of honor here in Valdrakken.
Alexstrasza the Life-Binder says: An ingot of pure silver, forged in the shape of a dragon scale.
Kalecgos says: Beautiful! Tell me, has it always pulsed with such potent magic?
Nozdormu says: No… something about it is different. The scale seems to have changed in our absence.
Alexstrasza the Life-Binder says: Perhaps our return to the Dragon Isles has awakened it. Tyr was full of mysteries. This may be one last enigma for us to investigate.
Alexstrasza the Life-Binder says: As an ally of dragonkind, mortal, we ask that you take the scale and investigate this matter on our behalf.
I imagine that he left this gift before their daring mission of stealing the discs and moving to what we now call Tirisfal. After a bit of investigating, hearing some of the history I just told you about, the scale responds to Alexstrasza’s voice…
Alexstrasza the Life-Binder says: Much has happened since the day we said goodbye to Tyr.
Alexstrasza the Life-Binder says: I hope he would be proud of everything we have accomplished. To know that despite the hardships we have faced, dragonkind thrives.
Titan Spark says: “Dragonkind thrives.”
Titan Spark says: Voice recognition complete. Input received.
Kalecgos says: It seems your words have awakened an ancient magic, Life-Binder.
Titan Spark says: Keeper designation “Tyr” not found. Activating silver protocol.
Keeper Tyr says: My loyal companions…
Alexstrasza the Life-Binder says: An echo of Tyr! What wisdom has he left behind for us?
Keeper Tyr says: If you are seeing this message, it means a time of great need is at hand, but I am no longer among you. Take the silver scale to my forge in Tyrhold and more shall be revealed.
Nozdormu says: Mysteries within mysteries. Tyr always had a plan.
After reactivating the Forge and gathering 10 ancient Titansteel ingots from Watcher Irideus within the halls of infusion, we return to activate the Silver Protocol.
Alexstrasza the Life-Binder says: Remarkable! This body looks exactly like the Tyr we knew, though it is but an empty vessel. Bereft of the noble spirit that made him such a trusted friend.
Kalecgos says: Tyr must have known he was going to his doom, so he left behind the silver scale as a catalyst to restore his physical form.
Nozdormu says: A truth he kept veiled from my perceptions until a time when his wisdom would be needed.
Alexstrasza the Life-Binder says: Tyr’s allies hid a record of his memories in the depths of Uldaman. But before it could be recovered, agents of the Infinite dragonflight cast the disc into the timeways.
Alexstrasza the Life-Binder says: We must locate that disc or find another way to restore Tyr. The future of our flights may depend upon it.
Watcher Koranos says: It will be done, Queen Alexstrasza. This I vow.
The disc mentioned is one we tried to reclaim within Uldaman, and it was Chrono-Lord Deios that prevented us from getting those memories back.
Chrono-Lord Deios says: This disc may hold the secret to the Aspects regaining their power… and we cannot allow that to happen.
Revisiting Tyr’s Tomb
The story with the Infinite Dragons is just around the corner, but still spoilery, so we’re not going into that today. As an alternative, we’re taking the silver scale into Tyr’s tomb to see if we can’t collect more of his memories and get this new version up and running.
Watcher Koranos says: We do not mean to alarm you, paladin…We are here on an important mission. For Tyr.
Travard says: For Tyr? I am Travard, Captain of Tyr’s Guard. My vigil is to watch over Tyr’s tomb. Who are you?
Watcher Koranos says: I am Koranos, a Titan watcher. And this is my friend. We endeavor to awaken Tyr.
Travard says: Awaken….Tyr? How…how will this miracle be accomplished?
Watcher Koranos says: WIth your help, I hope. But first we must enter the tomb.
Travard explains that the tomb had not collapsed completely the last time we were here, so the only thing that he could do was stand vigil. While the Paladins of the Silver Hand still remain, after he’s gone so too will the Tyr’s Guard. Still, he holds strong to his mission and helps us gather Tyr’s final memories – his last memories to be precise – the moment in which he fell to the C’Thraxxi and learned of the potential future for our queen Alexstrasza. Instead of telling them all that we learned, giving Alexstrasza a warning, Watcher Koranos makes the decision to not share that final bit of information as it would be a great blow to them. If Tyr cannot be raised, perhaps it is not something they need to know.
Travard says: As much as I’d like to dismiss the words of a follower of the Old Gods…
Watcher Koranos says: I suppose any questions we have we can answer when he is awakened. Let us depart.
Alexstrasza the Life-Binder says: The champion and Koranos have returned. Were you able to collect Tyr’s memories?
Watcher Koranos says: Yes, we have returned with Tyr’s final memories, captured by the Silver Scale. And Captain Travard of the Silver Hand!
Travard says: I am honored to be part of Tyr’s return. Will this restore him then?
Nozdormu says: It is our hope that it will. Champion, it is time to use the scale once more.
Keeper Tyr says: The Aspects…fill me with hope…
Keeper Tyr appears to move briefly before shutting down again.
Nozdormu says: The Silver Scale… I thought it would be enough.
Watcher Koranos says: The Silver Scale brought him back for a moment… Is there more we can do?
Nozdormu says: The timeways grow ever difficult to read. All that is left to do is to prepare for the infinites.
Kalecgos says: There are still avenues to explore. I am sure a new path will become clear to us.
Travard says: I will alert what is left of the Silver Hand. They may know something – and they deserve to hear of what I witnessed!
Alexstrasza the Life-Binder says: Whatever may come, with or without Tyr, we will face the infinites – together. We are dragons. We will rise!
And hopefully not rise in darkness as we just keep the full truth to ourselves. Then again, the future is not set in stone, so perhaps not knowing is the better course.
Travard is left with a new purpose; As the last member of the Tyr’s Guard, he will now assist the Aspects in resurrecting Tyr while all eyes look towards the future, the story of the rise of the Infinite Dragonflight, and perhaps, in turn, Nozdormu’s demise. A story that will be told in the next patch – but to focus it on Tyr and what’s happening here right now, they’re all focused on getting his memories back and getting this body operational. That’s where the story is at for the moment so the next part of this is speculation…
Speculation
The story of Dragonflight at its core is replaying the war of the past, the Aspects and the dragons versus the Primal Incarnates and their forces. The years have not exactly been kind to the dragons and so we’ve been trying to restore them to their full glory. Restore their purpose, their union, their powers as a whole. The groundwork was done while leveling through the Dragon Isles, and while the queen was unable to restore their powers, we have pushed deeper into restoring the flights.
Ebonhorn now leads the Black Dragonflight as Aspect. Kalecgos has brought his family closer together. Ysera has been brought back from the Shadowlands to help her daughter fly into her new role as leader while a story is being built up for the future of the Night Elves. The next patch will focus on the Bronze and Infinite Drragonflights, so I imagine that we’ll one by one restore the flights to what they used to be. Anyone’s guess what they’ll do with Alexstrasza, but my hope is that they’ll go a little bit deeper than the Primalists are evil, lets’s re-empower the dragons and secure victory while going back to how things used to be.
I hope that we’ll get a bit more, as the groundwork is definitely there. After all, there is something to be said for the enemy forces that we’ve been taking out. Even though they sadly are just a bad guy to conquer, they do have valid points worth exploring. If we look at the Primal Incarnates, from their point of view how much difference is there between a world conquered and corrupted by the Old Gods versus a world conquered and corrupted by the Titans and their so-called Order? We have records showing that Tyr was not opposed to feeding dragons corrupted waters even before they were hatched to have them fall in line with the will of the Titans. Do the dragons know this? How do the Aspects feel about being drugged by their friend Tyr?
And what about his observations when it comes to the proto-dragons? His report blames Yogg-Saron for corrupting the water and then causing the mutation of Galakrond – yet at the same time we can see him do research on proto-dragons and ask himself what other powers they could absorb. If he’s not opposed to feeding dragons Order magic, could we also see Tyr feeding proto-dragons Void magics or Necromantic ones to see what results he could get? Was Galakrond an experiment done by Tyr that went way out of hand? Pun intended.
I’d personally find that an interesting development and story. To not just go back to how things used to be before the Cataclysm, but actually take a step back and wonder if rejoining the path laid out for them by the Titans, by the Keepers – if that’s still the path dragons want to follow or if there’s more to be said about the viewpoint of the Primal Incarnates. Perhaps the queen’s prophecized betrayal is not one in which she falls to the darkness of the Void, but rather one in which she simply opposes the will of Order…
Perhaps, but that is for the future to decide. For now, you’re up to speed on the story of Keeper Tyr and the development on the Dragon Isles.
