The new Roadmap, updated for Patch 10.1.7.
The new Roadmap, updated for Patch 10.1.7, adds more detail to the Fall and future Season 3 patches. Specifically including Night Elf and Forsaken character customizations and Heritage Armor, Dreamsurge public events, and Heroic versions of the new Dawn of the Infinite mega-dungeon. It also adds more detail to the existing categories; the story & quest update will include Reforging Tyr, while the Holiday Refresh focuses on Brewfest & Hallow’s End – some of which we’ve already datamined!
It seems like there could be a lot of story with this patch as well, with the name Fury Incarnate seemingly referring to Fyrakk, who we know is now on their way to burn the new world tree – though none of the Primal Incarnates are actually mentioned in the patch announcement! Instead, we have a teaser about following Velen’s prophecy to reveal a new future for some of the draenei people, and a mention continuing Tyr’s questline to reforge the Keeper. How this will all relate to the “Fury Incarnate” and what exactly that will entail remains to be seen, but with Blizzard purposefully trying to avoid story spoilers, only time will tell!
The Patch 10.2 / Season 3 card has also been updated with more detail. Though lacking any specifics, we can see they plan to add another Renown Track with its own special activities – presumably similar to the addition of the Laomm Niffen in Patch 10.1.
The previous roadmap, for comparison.
