The Trading Post is well-known. A wide variety of rare and store items sells a wide range of rare items, which are based solely on your in-game efforts. And simple, straightforward, and doesn’t burden you with quests and activities. Maybe that’s when I saw that Blizzard is releasing trading post class sets and Traders Tender bundles back to back.
On July 31, Blizzard announced class-specific armor sets and weapons will come to the Trading Post in September and, every month until December, well buy three to four never-before-seen armor sets and weapons for total of 950 traders. The devs revealed the Corsage Pack for the Trial of Style holiday event, which was just about as much as $5. Two unique wrist transmogs and 200 Traders Tender.
I know many of you will look at it and think to yourself But what? This is actually one of the other examples of business practices that we’ve already seen before, such as: Diablo Immortal, time-gated content in recent expansions, and the addition of WoW Token to Wrath of the Lich King Classic, despite the absence of change promises.
When I first saw class-specific trading post sets, I was surprised and delighted that my little Shaman will have some more transmog options because, because the quality of cloth and leather appearances is too large. Unlike a 500 Traders’ Set and Sending for a weapon trasmog, I can easily remove some items from my list of buys and give this one-of-kind transmog.
But what about players with a small army or avid collectors who only need to do what WoW needs to offer? It’s where the Traders Tender bundle comes in. If you’re active and want to adorn more than one character in the new class armors, you have to buy a bundle of books to get enough money.
A month normally gives you 1,000 Traders Tenders a month and you need at least 950 to get one armor set and one weapon appearance. So, naturally, players converge, despite promises that tradepost items will return in the future, so they won’t go to the store and get Traders to try to sell their products. Every month they introduce two to four sets and weapons and it will be hard to tell when they are going to make a return.
The armor sets of the Paladin, the Priest and the Rogue class will be in rotation in September 2023. Blizzard Entertainment shows a clip.
I loved the Trading Post because it was a nifty feature, all to blame for your ongoing efforts. All you have to do is log in every month, complete the activities, and grab one of the items you like from the shop in Orgrimmar or Stormwind.
From now on, the Trading Post could get more, but no matter how much you need to miss, impose a tax payer, make you take orders to buy bundles containing traders’ Tender, and invest in that kind of business as it already has monthly subscription. From simple and simple way of getting more transmogs into a cash grab, it could easily get in the way of additional transmogs.
A thing should not be a fault, it might be a point, but judging from Blizzard’s past behaviour when the company decided to add a character boost to WoW Classic and to add a whole lot of bonus items like a car, etc.
