Flightstones
Flightstones prices have been inflated in Dragonflight Season 3, and many users have started to notice that they’re running out quickly. While gaining Flightstones is quite slow and only a cap of 2,000, many players have resorted to finding ways to conserve or farm for more Flightstones.
The gear upgrade system actually has a 50% Flightstones discount built into the system, even back in Season 2. However, with how cheap upgrades were then, most players probably don’t remember it. Dragonflight Season 3’s prices have been increased, especially on the Myth track.
Unlocking 50% Flightstone Discount
Built into the gear upgrade system is a 50% discount on Flightstones when any character on your account has a piece of gear that is equal or a higher item level than what you’re upgrading to. For example, if you’re trying to upgrade to 473 gloves, and you have 473+ gloves on your other character, the Flightstone cost will be halved.
If you play lots of alts and have an excess of Flightstones, you can say upgrade a piece on your alt from 470 -> 473 for full price, then get the 50% discount on your main!
In general this means that you should only really struggle with Flightstones on your main.
