Better known as Ghostcrawler, Greg Street is a well known former World of Warcraft Lead Systems Designer known for his open relationship with the WoW community during Wrath of the Lich King and Cataclysm beta test periods, Street became commonly recognized as the “voice” of Blizzard during his time on the development team – frequently respond directly to player feedback on the forums, Reddit, or Twitter during a time in which it was fairly uncommon to hear from developers outside of curated press releases or interviews.

After five years of working on World of Warcraft, he left Blizzard in November of 2013 to join Riot Games as Lead Game Designer of League of Legends, before moving on to Head of Creative Development in 2018. Two years later, he announced that Riot would be making a new MMORPG set in the League of Legends universe and helped build its development team while serving as Executive Producer for the project. Although he will no longer be involved, he’s expressed confidence in his fellow developers and shared his intent to explore games development opportunities elsewhere.
