With so many mounts to collect, we decided to highlight some of our favorite and easy-to-obtain mounts for players looking to do something different during their holiday break.
Today’s highlight is Big Slick in the City! Big Slick in the City is one of the crystal snail mounts added in Patch 10.1 and is rewarded by a series of dailies. However, this process can be sped up with… snails!
One of the activities in Zaralek Cavern is snail racing. This activity is first unlocked at Renown 7 with the Loamm Niffen. With Snail racing, you complete daily quests in Glimmerogg with Briggul. You gain 100 Reputation with Glimmerogg Racer with every daily quest.
With 2800 reputation required to earn the max reputation, it will take 28 days of dailies to reach max rank with the Glimmerogg Racer. You can speed up the reputation gains by showing lv25 Snail Battle Pets to him. Each pet grants an additional 100 Glimmerogg Racer reputation, for a total of 1500 Reputation if you show him every snail pet he wants to see. The list of pets, and their source is this:
At the end of the grind, you will receive the Big Slick in the City mount.
