Here’s a list of Hotfixes to address various issues related to World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, Wrath of the Lich King Classic, Burning Crusade Classic and WoW Classic. Some of the hotfixes below have effect immediately after they’re implemented, while some may require re-restarts of the realm to be implemented. Please remember that some issues can’t be addressed without a client-side update. The list is going to be updated as new hotfixes apply.

Hotfixes

September 13, 2023.

Player versus player versus player.

• In PvP, Sarannis’ Herstic Sheen effectiveness was reduced to 70 percent.

Secrets of Azeroth by Azoo.

• If you don’t get it by attempting to look at all 6 notes during the secret day, you need to get the quest A Complete Inventory from Fangli Hoot, if you don’t get it instantly.
• Updated some of the quests to address issues where players failed to receive clues because they were on different characters.

WoW Classic and Hardcore is a big move.

• Fixed an issue in which hunters could lose valuable animals and attack nearby players.

September 12, 2023

Achievements

• Fixed an issue that prevented players from being properly awarded the baseline Challenger, Rival and Duelist.

WoW Classic

• A bug made the NPC Tyrion unharmed for the return of the bounty hunter after the Attack!
• Hardcore Realms
  • The coalsed sword thrown by civil dwarf NPCs at Dun Modr shouldn’t allow players to become PvP flagged.
  • Developers note these NPCs had very few chances of hitting you and flaging you, so that a no-fee ais may be enough. Nevertheless, we don’t intend to change the behavior of enemy faction guards in Hardcore. If you want to avoid being flagged for PvP, you should keep your enemy faction from making it illegal and seeks to kill PvP.

Dragonriding

• The Loamm Roamm Reverse Challenge silver medal should be rewarded again with honour.

Quests

• Chromie now has No Limits, a questline who traces its past, without ever requiring a complete dungeon for the Dawn of the Infinites.
• When one step into the shadows, Maiev Shadowsong shouldn’t be used to point at invisible Felflame Braziers anymore.
• The quest “Not Today, Fate” now stops disappearing and Nozdormu will enter stealth appropriately.
• Demon Hunters who didn’t first interact with the Control Console can now return to The Fel Hammer and continue with their Order Hall campaign.
• The Moodmaster is visible, and “The Legend of Mechagon” is available again for players above level 60.

WoW Classicera!

• For each player-character’s current rank, weekly PvP contribution calculations only award up to the value of the contribution points missing in progress toward the next Rank threshold.
  • Developers’ note: In higher ranks, players intentionally earn dishonorable kills to lower themselves below their current rank threshold to gain credit for more than one Rank, thus allowing them to progress faster than those who do more than one Rank threshold. You earn up to the amount of the level you don’t have an account of. To earn progress, not a lot of benefits must be made from doing destructive kills to earn victory more quickly.
• A issue that caused the Honor reward for the Alterac Valley turn-in quests to doubled unintentionally.

September 6, 2023.

Classes

• Evoker
  • Preservation
    • If it is used while Flow State, removal will not leave Verdant Embrace on cooldown.

Items

• Now the ‘Whirl’ kid has its minimum level required.
• Engineering
  • Fixed a bug that caused the need to transmogrify structurally calibrated engineering goggles to level 58.

Quests

• All characters can complete the Legend of Mechagon now.

WoW Classic Hardcore is the standard.

• The money worth the buff for Mak’gora kills continue to rise.
• Developer notes: This will let the new Classic API report the correct Mak’gora kill count for deceased characters.

September 5, 2023.

Events

• Azeroth’s secret is their secrets.
  • Idol was found to not be the result of the quest and it didn’t show up after you completed the Idol in Hand.

Quests

• Fixed an issue where credit was denied with recollection for the final objective in Urgent Exfiltration.
