Event Rewards
We’ve datamined several Diablo-themed pieces of loot which will become available to players. Wirt’s Last Leg, Wirt’s Haunted Leg, and Wirt’s Fightin’ Leg are all cosmetic maces that players can keep inside their Horadric Haversack bag, while the Treasure Nabbin’ Bag is actually a loot filled backpack, and the Little Lord of Lies achievement will award Baa’lial Soulstone as a pet. We also discovered a Large Charm of Intelligence which players can keep in their inventory for a small buff!
It also appears that Winds of Sanctuary will increase experience and ALL reputation throughout the event – which is oddly emphasized since it’s actually just most reputation – specifically discluding the new Loamm Niffin renown coming in Patch 10.1.
Increases experience gain by 50%.
Increases ALL reputation gains by 8% (except Loamm Niffin).
Event Details
Aside from the tricksy Treasure Goblins, we don’t know much yet, although the event sounds like it could mirror Diablo’s 20 Year Anniversary event in 2017, which similarly challenged players to slay Treasure Goblins throughout the Broken Isles and steal a portal to The Secret Cow Level. Players who found their way inside would fight off hordes of Diabolic Bovine and challenge The Cow King himself, seeking rewards like a Twelve-String Guitar, the Horadric Satchel, Scroll of Town Portal and a Tome of Town Portal, various inventory charms, and even a Stone of Jordan!
