While you are playing with Sniffenseeking in the Zaralek Cavern and chasing Evoker Legendary weapons, Blizzard Entertainment is making up an update to World of Warcraft Dragonflight for Patch 10.1.5. The patch is a glimpse of how different WoWs could have looked.
The Battlefield encounter will feature the Great Glorious Alliance and the Blood Horde, according to reports from the May 18 data conference. While there is a fight for a place where players can play alternative versions of the Horde and the Alliance, which, according to their official description, are far more powerful than factions that we know and love.
While the alternative version of the Alliance have zealous and Scarlet Crusade-like Inquisitors, Interrogators, and a Sky-Commander, the Horde from a different universe has the Plague-inspired Smokers, Bombers and Warlord of the Toxic Wastes.
This means that the old versions of the Horde and the Alliance have embraced the worst that has happened in the WoW history. This new alliance manifestly adopted zealous and fanatic attitude, long in the Scarlet Crusade, and the Horde has accepted a slyvana unhonorable way to spread the Plague and cleanse azeroth of living and dead.
Even if the event of Azeroth’s progress was very different, we would be the Horde-Poruchers and Allianz conquistadors, but also the long-lasting war between these two factions had escalating. It seems that Blizzard had plans to implement some of these stories, but has never found the opportunity, or simply decided to abandon them and move into a different direction.
Unfortunately, the encounter isn’t available for testing on the PTR, but it’s likely to be well known to visit and learn more in the upcoming weeks. The biggest selling point of Patch 10.1.5 is that, besides the new megadungeonDawn of the Infinite, as well as the escapade de la sefus (Yavonne-Sala) and some other fun doodle, called Whelp Daycare. The patch is still out of the unknown, but you can expect it in June or July this year.
