Amirdrassil Special Effect Weapons & TrinketsFyr’alath, the Dream Render Legendary 2-Handed Axe
We previously highlighted the special effects of several weapons and trinkets as well as the new legendary axe, Fyr’alath, but Dreambinder, Loom of the Great Cycle only got it’s special effect attached in a recent PTR build.
Dreambinder, Loom of the Great Cycle has a 2-min on-use effect that causes you to weave webs underneath your target that deals moderate AoE nature damage within 8 yards increasing up to 5 targets as well as immobilizes your primary target and slows nearby enemies.
The staff retains full secondary stats despite the additional on-use effect and is one of the highest item level weapon options in Amirdrassil, likely making it highly coveted by casters in Season 3 especially in Mythic+. It’s worth noting that the staff does appear on the healer loot table likely allowing healers to roll on the item in group loot scenarios.
Another caster weapon with a special effect and similar item level does exist in Amirdrassil, Vakash, the Shadowed Inferno; however, as a mace, the subset of classes that can wield the item is much more exclusive compared to Dreambinder, Loom of the Great Cycle.
