Here you’ll find the list of hotfixes covering various topics related to World of Warcraft: Dragonflight, Wrath of the Lich King Classic, Burning Crusade Classic and WoW Classic. Those hotfixes below will continue when they have been implemented, while other versions of the program may require restarts before they enter effect. Keep in mind that some issues can’t be addressed without the recent update. This list is being updated as many hotfixes as possible.
Hotfixes
October 2, 2023
Enemies and non-profits are involved.
- A number of creatures on Mechagon Island have been scaled down so they don’t harm lower-level players anymore.
- The Bragdur Battlebrew now offers a different version of a “Brew of the Month” club membership form, as intended.
- Lord Andestrasz has been found in the Waking Shores and shouldn’t be invisible to some players.
WoW Classic
- Hardcore
- On Hardcore realms, mind control spells can’t be used if the duels are normal.
- Developers notes: No change to duels, no matter how complex is it. This shouldn’t stop players from using mind control spells in Makgora duels to kill.
- We added an identifier that shows the player class and level of the player, when challenge to death.
- On Hardcore realms, mind control spells can’t be used if the duels are normal.
- Wrath Classic
- Fixed a bug that made the joyous journeys bonus unintentionally disappear.

- Brewfest Hops do not affect dragonriding mounts anymore.
- When players go swimming at Eastern Kingdom’s Cup games, they are given fully unlocked dragonriding right away as a result of their actual dragonriding talent.

- Fixed a problem that prevented Ouro from spawning after the flood.
September 21, 2023.

- The Waking Dream public event in the Azure Span should now properly start.

- Fixed an issue that prevented Keg-Shaped Treasure Chest from being awarded to players below the age of 70.

- The weekly Time Rifts quest “When Time Needs To Mender” can now be completed in a raid.

- The problem hindered the objective counter from increasing when survivors were rescued for Refti Retribution.
- A bug was fixed, so some players could turn in The Nokhud Offensive: Founders Keepers.

- The most recent bonus weekend in the region of the Uperac Valley has been extended. The bonuses will end on Friday, September 22.
March 18, 2023
Players versus players, with weekly maintenance scheduled.
- Evoker
- Disintegrate damage increased by 33% in PvP combat (20%).
- Developers note that Devastation’s killing power isn’t as much as we want, so we are increasing Disintegrate damage further so as to stop Devastation in PvP. In future patches, we’d like to continue strengthening this effort and move the damage from Dragonrage to other areas.

- The Volcanic Surge now increases the damage by 45% (55%) and Lightning Bolt / Chain Lightning by 50% (35%).

- Healing Totems increases by 30 percent in PvP Combat (20%).

Dragon Racing
- Adjusted Gold and Silver times for the Flashfrost Flyover Reverse Challenge. They were inadvertently set too high.
Professions
- Engineering
- Engineers can buy Sprocket Containers now from Hobart Grapplehammer in Legion Dalaran at a price of 50 Leystone and 10 Felslate each.
Rewards
- Fixed a bug that drew Zaqali Elders loot from an item level below target level.
The old WoW Classics are in the same period of time.
- Fixed a bug affecting bonus honors for the Alterac Valley.
- Doing Fish in a Bucket won’t reward gold anymore.
- Developers note that this change was originally made in the version 2.0.10 and works well in Classic Era/Hardcore, since the original quest provided an uncontested, single-faction, infinitely repeatable, low risk gold reward, that doesn’t rely on the nature of the rest of the game.
November 13, 2023.
Players versus players are different.
- Sarannis’ Mystic Sheen effectiveness was reduced by 70% in PvP.
Secrets of Azeroth: The Secrets of Azeroth.
- From start of the secret day beginning with They’re always listening, you should now receive the quest A Complete Inventory from Fangli Hoot if you don’t get it automatic through the entire six notes.
- Updated some of the quests to address questions where players could not take a clue because they have kept names on different characters.
WoW Classics and Hardcore era.
- Fixed a dispute when hunting dogs could be dismissed and threatened by nearby players.
March 12, 2023
Achievements
- Fixed an issue that stopped players from being properly granted the sand for the baseline challenger, the rival and the duelist.
WoW Classic
- Fixed a bug that prevented the NPC Tyrion from turning back to a quest-giver a few minutes after the attack!
- Hardcore Realms
- The coalse dynamite thrown by civilian dwarf NPCs at Dun Modr shouldn’t cause players to become PvP flagged.
- Developer notes: These specific NPCs had quite a small chance to hit you and flag you; therefore, they were not necessarily expected to do. Nevertheless, we don’t intend to change the general behavior of enemy faction guards in Hardcore. Players who want to not be flagged for PvP should avoid opponents or enemies vs. quests labeled PvP in the Quest Log.

Dragonriding
- Remember that Loamm Roamm Reverse Challenge silver medal should be rewarded again in a good way.
Quests
- Chromie now offers no limit, a quest line eternus, without taking to the Dawn of the Infinites dungeon.
- When stepping into the shadows, Maiev Shadowsong won’t ever point around invisible Felflame Braziers.
- Moraidormi stops disappearing and Nozdormu gets stolen more appropriately during the quest, “Today, to death.”
- Demon Hunters who were previously incapable of connecting to the Control Console can now return to The Fel Hammer and start their Order Hall campaign.
- The tower of the tower is visible, and ‘Messin’ is another piece of the art which players have already found in the ‘tiger’.
WoW Classic era: WoW Classic era:
- For a rated standard, weekly income calculations only grant this value so as to all contribution points missing in progress by the new Rank threshold.
- Developers’ note: In higher ranks, players have intentionally earned dishonorable kills to shalt themselves below the current grade threshold and earn credit for an extra Rank, thus making them more successful, rather than for players who are just above the next Rank threshold. You’re the first one to earn up to the sum you’re missing from the Rank that you are starting to impose. For more rapid progress, it would be better if people would reduce rank by punishable kills.
- Fixed an issue that caused the honor reward for Alterac valley marks turn-in quests to double unintentionally.

- Fixed a bug that caused Chromatically Calibrated engineering goggles to get level 58 to transmogrify.

- Legend of Mechagon can now be correctly completed by all characters.
WoW Classic Hardcore!
- The string of ears buff earned for Mak’gora kills now persists until death.
- Developer notes: This will allow the new Classic API to report the correct Mak’gora kill count for deceased characters.
