After months of fighting for change in the Void, Shadow Priests have finally completed a remake of World of Warcraft Dragonflight Patch 10.1.
The first major download for Dragonflighters of Neltharion was announced on March 8, 2012. In celebration of this patch, WoW content creators and streamers receive a free interview with associate game director Morgan Day and narrative director Steve Danuser.
In the interview, Day revealed that Shadow Priest will be a major reworker of Embers of Neltharion. The game director said in terms of more work, Shadow Priest has very much done in the Embers of Neltharion update.
Shadow Priests was blessed with buffs in Dragonflight Patch 10.0.5, but the class still suffers from buttonbloat, slow-moving rotationespecially in single-target encounters and niche utility spells that should be switched around for almost all encounters. But if Shadow Priests lack spell cohesion, it will destroy them, it’s a bad result, as it is now commonly among the top performing classes in PvE.
The changes are continuing with the first PTR cycle scheduled to begin earlier this week or at the beginning of the next week. After that, Day noted that there will be significant class changes in Patch 10.1, but again wait to begin the first DP1 cycle before we see them.
