With all the nerfs to crafting (ilvl and embelishments), it shouldn’t be bi-weekly anymore. Crafted gear should be acquired faster to be relevant.

I guess instead of making them a currency for something useful like crafting mats or the dumb elemental soul in a jar, it’s just bogging down crafting more. Weird, but it’s not exactly a hassle. Just annoying.

you get it from doing anything in the game. Quests, keys. dungeons, raids, rare spawns, chests. Just play the game and you will get flightstones. Wowhead comments are rediculous sometimes.

Not even is it good, is it bad, it can be debated, we get them from content, etc etc won’t really matter.
But simply, Why?
If anything, it won’t affect mains, but will be alt-unfriendly really. You already have to get the crests to upgrade said spark piece, why add that extra obstacle on top?
As I said, just to repeat myself – Why, for what reason, and to what benefit does this give ANYONE?
In saying that.. Better than needing 30 crests :^), strictly comparing to this season though hehe.

Are they capping how many Flightstones you can earn weekly? If not, like you said it really doesn’t matter. We can get 250 flightstones in our sleep.

This change only affects alts gearing in that you won’t be crafting yourself current equivalent of 418 gear with just the sparks, as you’re better off saving and spending those flightsones and crests upgrading myth track gear which is better than crafted.
Late season you will have 10 splinters sitting in your alt’s inventory with 0 purpose after crafting your mandatory 2 embelished pieces.

Voicing concerns about alts gearing as well. They usually starve for Flightstones to upgrade gear drops already and now this will only make things slower/worse/longer for them. Shouldn’t be much of a concern for mains who start swimming with those rather fast and have only been stopped by Crests in early weeks of the patch.
