So this is only for new players, who can choose to farm dungeons til they hit exalted… or spend ~600g to hit exalted thanks to the Relics of Ulduar being farmed by boosters. I really don’t see the point.

So to my understanding…WoW Classic now technically has exclusive mounts and exclusive tabards not found in Retail? Why? Also I thought classic players didn’t want things changed so much. I understand retail things not coming to classic as it’s back in time but why aren’t new things from classic being moved to Retail? It makes no sense why content doesn’t flow down to the current version of the game. Is it that hard to put simple cosmetics like that in both versions? If the goal is to simply put new content in classic to keep classic player numbers up then at least make it so earning this new stuff in classic unlocks it in retail account wide or something. Honestly it may be the only thing that keeps me playing classic on the side if it unlocks mounts/transmog options for me in retail. And I bet i’m not the only one who would do it for the unlocks.
I get minor changes to make classic better were done to systems…but this is starting to maybe go in a not so healthy direction. I’m sure I won’t be the only retail player wondering why it’s in classic only. I like the look of it. A lot actually.
Maybe at LEAST bring these items to the trading post? Although I’d prefer they just get put in how they are in classic.

Funny, this, while the Exalted enchants (the only reason people want to get up their Sons of Hodir reputation) are bound on account and can be mailed to all your characters across servers and factions.
Also I thought classic players didn’t want things changed so much.
I’m pretty sure no one that plays classic wants this. Even though it’s hardly any time spent designing/implementing this, it adds even less QoL or incentive to do dungeons than the effort making it is worth.

I’m gonna guess that they plan to re-introduce Joyous Journeys and binge on getting players who’ve quit to play the game again and this change is to help them get their shoulder enchant sorted, otherwise it is a very weird one.
