With the recent announcement of the Seafarer’s Pack, many players speculated that the next expansion will be Pirate themed. This comes after the Dragon Pack was announced a couple months before the Dragonflight expansion was announced.
However, Blizzard President Mike Ybarra responded to a tweet containing feedback on a possible pirate expansion with two words: “No Pirates”.
