From the moment World of Warcraft Dragonflight Patch 10.1.5 entered the live servers on July 11, Mythic+ dungeons centered around Mages, Augmentation Evokers and Holy Paladins. Blizzard Entertainment noticed these specs are having a little too much fun and is hitting Holy Paladins on Wednesday with heavy nerfs.

During July 17, a www dev said that holy Paladins sounded to be a tad too strong in Fractures of Time Patch. Well, since we’re a saint, we’re getting nerfs everywhere, including nerfs to damage dealt, heal output, Thrust Deliverance healing and mana regeneration in combat.

The nerfs are the following:

Overall changes

  • All healing went up by 8%.
  • All damage was increased by 12 percent.
  • Tyrs reducing the healing process by 15 percent.

PvP

  • With Holy Paladins regenerate 55 percent less Mana in PvP (was 25 percent).

After the weekly maintenance, the changes are going to roll out on July 18, together with the nerf for all three parts of the Mage. I don’t even want to tell a story, but I also expect Holy Paladins and Mages to be running the show in High-end Mythic+ dungeons. This will only just add value to their healing and damage output, so that this is not an ideal zone, especially when the players are paired with the Augmentation Evokers.

Before Patch 10.1.5 began to roll out, Holy Paladins have been rising. These healers like Shamans and Druids have gained the throne of top Mythic+ healers like this. The biggest reason for the aging Holy Paladins is now your favorite healers in mythic+ dungeons. They face no problems topping the group and can survive a burst of damage quickly.

Even the nerfs should not affect Holy Paladins as much as the kings of Mythic+ dungeons, and they should remain kings, except as the rule that Blizzard decides this isn’t a big enough nerf.
