We all know about those particular classes you don’t need to see when you get pugging your Mythic+ keystones into World of Warcraft. Although there are almost always one or two classes that stand out in particular roles, important for many is that you don’t lose your ability to play in the weakest position of any given meta.

In WoW Dragonflight, one class in particular stood out as the least used in two specific roles. While the class has three specializations in all three roles, tank, healer and DPS, one of the three specializations is far from ideal for a player.

The class that started its career in Inda, Panderia, has ebbed and flowed in terms of relevance among the different forms of content over the years. But right now is certainly not class heyday when it comes to Mythic+.

According to Raider.io, the class is the lowest in order to see if it is healing or tanking. Apart from achieving only 7.1 percent of all keystones as a healer and 8.1 percent of keys as a tank, the class is remarkably inferior to all others.

Perhaps one reason for the unattended event is that the class melee spec shows the common prevalence of DPS. Windwalker Monks seem healthy in keystones, representing 10.3 percent of melee DPS – in keystones. Only two specs are bigger, Fury Warrior and Havoc Demon Hunter. But a few classes have multiple DPS specs that, when combined, represent a tyrantiy of the DPS population: Rogues and Death Knights.

Without a doubt the lack of precision in the tanks ranks is impossible, making it clear what class is lacking in strength in class compared to its peers. Even in the lower part of keystones, the only tank spec seen to aspire to make less than the ten percent of keystones. The second highest proportion, said Druids, use as 14.4% of keystones. The most used tank is the Protect Warriors with 28,3 percent.

Most doctors have at least one spec that represents more than 10 percent of the keys run in the game. Most importantly, the two Specs, Discipline, are more often used than Mistweaver Monks.

Don’t let the overarching metagame influence your decisions, however. In the right hands any given spec can be used in your average keystone, but even some of the lesser desired specifications can be useful in the right situation.

It was as expected that Echo won Group A in the Mythic Dungeon International at last weekend. Despite being the focus of many maps, it was a restoration, but instead, many of the 10 dungeons they ran for, and even though Resto is among the most common restoring equipment in live keys.
