Breaking Ground
Embers of Neltharion takes us Underground into Zaralek Caverns, the new zone of 10.1. The entrance to Zaralek Caverns is located by the chasm between Thaldraszus and Ohn’ahran Plains. We join Ebyssian, Sabellian, and Wrathion as they venture underground, discover the Black Dragons struggle with intrusive thoughts and emotions below the earth – causing tentions to rise between Sabellian and Wrathion. We also get to know the Niffen, the new faction of 10.1.
Sundered Legacy
The Sundered Flame is a faction of Evokers determined to reclaim Neltharion’s legacy as their own – they’re led by Scalecommander Sarkareth, the final boss of Aberrus, Patch 10.1’s raid. In this chapter, we deal a little with the Sundered Flame and Sarkareth, who is determined to gain access to Neltharion’s ancient laboratory. Most disturbingly, we learn that Sarkareth is in possession of Oathbinder, Neltharion’s broken glove, and he uses it to control his fellow Dracthyr!
The Ancient Bargain
In this chapter, we finally learn of the location of the Djaradin elders of Tarjin’s tales. We discover the Primalists and Fryakk are using Shadowflame, which reminds us of the ancient bargain Neltharion made with the Old Gods. Sabellion is badly injured by Shadowflame, but we help Ebyssian rescue him. An attack on Fyrakk backfires, and the Niffen hometown is tragically engulfed in Shadowflame.
Inherited Sin
In this chapter, we help the Black Dragonflight deal with the dragon-killing Djaradin, as well as drakonid still loyal to Neltharion. Most excitingly, we get our new Dragonriding mount, the Winding Slitherdrake!
A Tense Union
In this chapter, we attempt to help Emberthal try, and fail, to stop Sarkareth from entering Aberrus, Neltharion’s secret laboratory. We help Ebyssian convince both Wrathion and Sabellian lend their strength to the assault on Aberrus.
A Flame, Extinguished
While this chapter is not yet available for testing, we think this one relates to Aberrus and the defeat of the raid’s final boss, Sarkareth, leader of the Sundered Flame.
A Creche, Divided
While this chapter is not yet available for testing, this chapter feels like it could have to do with the remaining Sundered Flame after Sarkareth’s defeat.
