Timewalking: Wrath of the Lich King

For one week, players can participate in many activities during the Timewalking Event: Wrath of the Lich King. This moment is an excellent opportunity to earn Timewarped Badges, increase those Wrath Reputations, and complete Timewalking Dungeons and the Timewalking Raid: Ulduar.

For more information, continue reading!

Timewarped Badges:

By completing activities during a Timewalking event, you can earn Timewarped Badges. Each Timewalking Event has a designated vendor for that expansion. In this instance, Timewalking: Wrath of the Lich King, you’ll have access to the vendor: Auzin.

You can find Auzin within Runeweaver Square of Dalaran, Northrend!

Timewalking Vendor – Auzin:

To interact with Auzin and view the items for sale, you must be level 30 or aboveAuzin sells items from Timewarped GearHeirloom Upgrade TokensReputation Commendations, and more.

Continue reading for a brief description of what Auzin sells.

Timewarped Gear:

For 25 Timewarped Badges, you can obtain a NeckChest pieceGloveRing, or Boots. Alternatively, for 50 Timewarped Badges, you can purchase a Trinket. The item level of each piece will scale down to your character’s level!

Toys:

There are three Toys available.

Mount:

The highlight of the items available is the mount: Bridle of the Ironbound Wraithcharger. This big ticket item will set you back 5000 Timewarped Badges.

Reputation Commendations:

For 50 Timewarped Badges each, you can purchase seven different Commendations. Once purchased and used, you’ll earn 500 Reputation towards your desired Faction.

Here’s a list of available Commendations.

Remember that during the event, the buff: Sign of the Scourge will give you a 50% increase in reputation gains from combat and quests; this also counts towards reputation turn-ins. For example, handing in Relic of Ulduar will earn you an extra 50%. The buff appears bugged and is only available for players level 60 and above!

Tip: If you’re trying to obtain the mounts via the Faction: The Sons of Hodir, the Commendation of the Sons of Hodir will assist you in reaching Revered and Exalted.

Heirloom Upgrade Tokens:

Although you can interact with the vendor at level 30, you cannot view or purchase the Heirloom Upgrade Tokens. You will need to be at a higher level. At this time, I’m unsure what level this is.

I can see the Tokens on my level 60 and above characters.

Bag of Fishing Treasure & Small Spice Bag:

If you have no interest in the items above, you can opt for two bags that offer a variety of things that may interest you. For potential gold-making purposes, consider purchasing the Bag of Fishing Treasures. This bag has a 1.1% chance of containing a Companion Pet: Strand Crawler.

Although the Companion Pet is Bind on Pickup, you can learn, cage, and post the Battle Pet at the Auction House. The Strand Crawler at level 25 can fetch around 6000 gold. Other items available from the Bag of Fishing Treasures include.

Alternatively, you can opt for the Small Spice Bag. This bag contains mainly Northern Spices but can include the following.

Timewalking Dungeons:

Pick up the Quest: A Frozen Path Through Time via Kazra in Valdrakken. Earn a piece of ilvl 402 gear for defeating five Timewalking Raid bosses (via Timewalking Raid: Ulduar) or five Timewalking Dungeons.

To enlist in Timewalking Dungeons, open Group Finder and sign up for Random Timewalking Dungeons. It appears that the option to queue below level 70 is not available!

Available Dungeons:

  • Azjol-Nerub
  • Gundrak
  • Halls of Lightning
  • The Forge of Souls
  • The Nexus
  • Utgarde Keep

Timewalking Raid – Ulduar:

Within the Runeweaver Square of Dalaran, Northrend, you will see the NPC: Vormu. She offers the Quest: Disturbance Detected: Ulduar. Completing the quest will reward you with 500 Timewarped Badges.

Although I can access the quest on my alt at level 60, you must be level 70 to queue. The loot from defeating bosses is scaled up to ilvl 389! Be aware that the Boss: Algalon, is unavailable within the Timewalking version of Ulduar.

Once you have created your group via Premade Groups, Raids – Legacy, visit Vormu in Runeweaver Square of Dalaran, Northrend, to start the Raid. You will be teleported to the instance!
