Dragonflight Release Date – Early 2023?
Assuming this release date doesn’t change, a late November prequel strongly suggests Dragonflight’s own release date will be sometime early next year.
Shadows Rising, the Shadowlands prequel, was released in July 2020, four months before Shadowlands itself was released in November that year. While the Battle for Azeroth prequel, Before the Storm, was released in June 2018, a mere two months before the expansion came out in August 2018, that release date was actually delayed. Illidan, the Legion prequel, was released in April 2016 – four months before Legion came out in August of the same year.
If Dragonflight follows the same trend, then the prequel can be expected to release four months before the expansion. That would set the Dragonflight release date for March 2023.
