From Legendary Pictures and Universal Pictures comes Warcraft, an epic adventure of world-colliding conflict based on Blizzard Entertainment’s global phenomenon.

The peaceful realm of Azeroth stands on the brink of war as its civilization faces a fearsome race of invaders: Orc warriors fleeing their dying home to colonize another. As a portal opens to connect the two worlds, one army faces destruction and the other faces extinction. From opposing sides, two heroes are set on a collision course that will decide the fate of their family, their people and their home.

So begins a spectacular saga of power and sacrifice in which war has many faces, and everyone fights for something.

Directed by Duncan Jones (Moon, Source Code) and written by Charles Leavitt and Jones, the film starring Travis Fimmel, Paula Patton, Ben Foster, Dominic Cooper, Toby Kebbell, Ben Schnetzer, Rob Kazinsky and Daniel Wu is a Legendary Pictures, Blizzard Entertainment and Atlas Entertainment production.

The producers are Charles Roven, Thomas Tull, Jon Jashni, Alex Gartner and Stuart Fenegan. Jillian Share, Brent O’Connor, Michael Morhaime and Paul Sams serve as executive producers. Rob Pardo, Chris Metzen, Nick Carpenter and Rebecca Steel Roven co-produce. Warcraft will be released by Universal Pictures. www.warcraftmovie.com

  1. I'm disappointed by this movie. They didn't do proper time introducing things and left WAYYYYYY too much for a sequel to fill in the blanks and answer lingering questions and conclude a story or kick start it.
Then they never created a sequel…
Such a MASSIVE waste of potential. They even got so many elements of a fantasy action movie done correctly, the acting was good and seemed to get solid cast for it. I swear if they pushed through and made a sequel or trilogy at the least, they would have saw it pay off… but one some stupid reason they gave up.

  2. "I LOVED THIS MOVIE, CRITICS ARE IDIOTS!" – It's fine if you found enjoyment through some part of this movie, but as a whole, the movie is a convoluted mess. Fans of Warcraft will like it far more than any average viewer, because of the references and fan fare. But it doesn't mean it's a "good" movie. It's an okay movie with messy dialog and cutaways but a big disappointment for what Warcraft could otherwise be.

The critics, even if harsh, are right. You can still say you like it and realize that by movie standards, it's not actually good.

  3. And if you're afraid of a crappy second and thirds. There is always another story to tell. Lich King and plenty more where that came from. Or like Netflix does, make a series of some story.. So, come on Blizzard! Get it done!

  4. Just watched this and VERY BORING hardly anything happened lol i mean… the game Warcraft yeh it's just going to war and killing stuff but even if you tried to make stuff happen and make a story it was just a fail… i watch things skeptcially these days cos it's always like that and same for this movie too, nobody knows how to build up a movie anymore and it's more just dragged on until one small moment that's supposed to be the epic finale but… it's just done and over with very underwhelming.

Also the Orcs are supposed to entirely be the bad guys cos in the game there's the good faction (the humans) and the evil faction (the orcs) so Why are there rogue individuals wanting peace?. I'd rather just still play the game i just didn't get that same feel as the game at all.

  5. Just watched Warcraft. What the hell? This movie is awesome. Why was there more promotion or talk about this movie? Ah who doesnt like Travis Fimmel , Paula Patten, Clancy Brown. We need a sequel like two years ago.

  6. Still one of the best movies I've seen. Sad that the critics did it dirty. Even sadder that it probably will never get a sequel. Warcraft lore is so rich and amazing that this could have become many movies.
Tho I think it would do better as a television show each season being a game xpac/sequel there's so so much that they had to leave out or the movie would have been probably 6hours long.
It sucks cuz we waited so long for this movie only for it to be shot thanks to stupid critics. Never listen to critics people never listen to critics…

  7. The Lich King would do way better than this film. It has more of that 'fantasy' air non-Wow players could get into. Would maybe even gain Blizz new players, though as a veteran to the game, I'm about done with it. My favorite scene was the gryphon ripping into orcs on the battlefield… that was awesome!

  8. I agree with other viewers comments about this movie being based on a game story line it was absolutely amazing and worth every second of watching 🙌 I truly hope there will be more to come ✊
