WoW Guides – 26 Tips For Total Beginners [World of Warcraft]

Now that Battle for Azeroth is here I thought it was time to put out some World of Warcraft new player guides, starting with 26 tips for new WoW players! I’ve tried to keep things simple and avoid the information overload that is typical when you start a new MMORPG. It’s impossible to avoid it entirely as MMOs are complex beasts, but hopefully I at least made starting WoW a little more manageable for you.

Like I said, you’re very welcome to join our guild (Silvermoon EU – Alliance) and even if you’re not EU you can still join our Discord server and ask questions any time you like.

  1. Fabulous video. As a Vet player, I think you did a really good job on this and I have actually recommended this to some newbies! Wish I had this like, 8 years ago…z

Ooof, a shame this was your most recent vid! I was looking forward to more stuff from you! Hope to see you in the future.

  2. Thank you for this man! I boosted a few months back when I got into the game and it was super confusing and stressed me out. I had someone tell me to do it and it just was a bad idea. I recently started playing again and am starting fresh but I do have one question. On that booster account I got heirlooms. Do you suggest I use those as I level or no? I am confused on if I should.

  3. I have a corsair scimitar mouse (has a 1-12number pad on the side) and its completely changed how enjoyable mmo's are. If you play games like WoW I highly suggest looking into a number pad mouse

  4. After i made a Char i just getting a realm for new players… cant i change that ??? The funny thing is i picked a different server but stuck therenow-.- i am lvl 43 now

  5. Yo guys, I just bought 1 month subscription for WOW, I was wondering, does that mean I can play all expansions up to Battle for Azeroth? And if yes, would I be missing anything that BFA has? Should I buy BFA too? Or should I level up to BFA content and then get the expansion?

  6. when you show the server list, there are only "normal" and "rp", i didn't play wow since vanilla, what happened to the PvP servers ? are the "normal" ones PvE ? im a bit confused. sorry if you said it in video i may not have understood it, my english is limited lol

  7. You should really mention that if you buy the US one you can't access the EU servers my girlfriend made this mistake and she bought the US one and I was on the EU one we were on the same realm but could not see each other so we contacted Blizzard support and they refunded us which was great! but definitely something worth mentioning next time. left a like thank you!

  8. I don't like/ understand only playing half the expansions. I want the whole story and people to play with in those, otherwise it just feels like a chore and race to max. I have tried and tried but I just can't get into it. I really wanted to like wow but maybe it just wasn't for me :/ I want a world that everyone is engaged with. 1-60 was great. The past expacs just ruin it for me…. like 4 times now. I don't think about end game. I just want to enjoy what is in front of me but I can't. I want to focus on the past content before I get to Max and make at a journey, but no one is there to play with. I'll sit in dungeon ques for an hour and nothing. When I'm not doing that I have to make a choice to level. Either over-level and stay to complete stuff (now with no one to que with) or leave to the next expac and just skip the story. I don't want to just skip the content. Why would I want to play less of a game and cheat it? It spoils it for myself.

  9. Hey Vress! This is my first video I’ve seen by you and I loved it. I have an idea for you and if you’re interested go ahead and send me a message. I’d love to see more content! Have a good one.

  10. im newish and one of the first things I did was level boost a character to 110
at least I can mess around as a demon hunter now
kinda sucks because i want to do the suramar dungeons but I don't want to piss people off because I don't know what to do lmao

  11. Also been so overwhelmed with WOW that I never tried it. Now I am excited to give it a full go! Thank you so much for this vid, it is invaluable to a beginner – and one that has been too overwhelmed to try the game.

  12. I wanted some advice please…

I am playing the trial, I have hit lvl20, I got the mount quest (Human Warrior, from Stormwind area).

I went and bought a mount, but I still need the apprentice riding training. I can go to the NPC guy to get the apprentice training, but heres my problem.

It costs 3 gold to get the apprentice training to ride my mount, is there a noob-friendly easy way to get 3 gold? I can't mine or fish or farm materials yet, I don't really understand the auction systems, I just want to know if I can get gold from missions? or are there particular events I can do on this trial account to get the 3 gold I need?

I am literally a beginner warrior who mostly plays deadmines repeatedly, but want to explore open world more without having to walk every-frickin where. I haven't decided if I will commit enough time to playing to justify buying a monthly subscription, so I am just trying out a few classes and seeing what it's all about.

    Any help appreciated 🙂

  13. Was actually considering buying the game, since I started to goof around with some classes and races to find the one I liked most and while knowing some of how the game works, there were some tips that I did not know about. But to be fair, I am quite scared of joining a guild cause I am afraid I wont live up to guild standards sometimes, taking my time with stuff and not doing things fast, or just because I am not a talkative person in ingame chats, not really shy just more silent when not around people I know. Maybe I'll get over it who knows. Anyways these were some great tips.

  14. Battle for Azeroth was pretty cool but I’ve had newer people in my guild come to me (I’m the most frequently on officer) ask for tips on starting WoW and I love helping them out

  15. Qso I'm watching this not because I want to play (kinda do) but because I enjoy sodapoppin but don't quite understand wow yet so I'm watching this and some others to try and better understand how this game works
