I think its too early to talk about 9.1. Difficulty of the tier, and the weekly caps on grinds makes it feel like this patch was designed to last longer than the previous content patches, except maybe for 8.3.

I think blizz want us to first get to max renown, I can be wrong, but torghast is somehow “finished” (at least for those who already have legendaries at max level and did twisting corridors), other than that, keep grinding the anima conductors and followers maybe?
If that’s the case, probably for march or april?

I honestly believe we probably should get a 9.0.5 that pushes the story a bit and leads into the 9.1. It doesn’t add a raid tier but could expand renown campaign before we get to a max which will be kind of weird to have campaign beats added in lower lvls once the catchup is passed it.
A .5 patch could actually be done the week of last lfr wing to be a directly continuation of story and hints for the 9.1 patch/raid tier.

We learnt about BoD and a hint towards CoS at blizzcon 2018, which was about 3 months after BFA launched. We will most likely learn what 9.1 will be about in Feb at the improv blizzcon (due to 2020’s getting cancelled due to COVID19).

I realy don’t mind waiting a bit longer for 9.1. at this moment i have enough to do daily.
but i honestly think it will be arround march when we get something.
