Gholna has mastery over lava, throwing magma and creating Lava Geyser around the arena. Conversely, Vakan has harnessed the power of shadowflame, enveloping players in darkness and summoning a Blistering Cyclone. Each of them can counter the other though,
Vakan’s Might and Gholna’s Might allow each Elder’s attacks to be turned against the other, clearing hazards from the arena and granting a buff to players.
Together, Vakan and Gholna are the Zaqali Elders, powerful Djaradin locked in perpetual contest.
The duo are also slightly more involved in the Embers of Neltharion story than most world bosses, and we’ll see more of the Zaqali warband inside Aberrus, the Shadowed Crucible.
