The developer announced that they would add Warrior to the class list to order a few changes for PvP.

The classes in total are going to receive a few changes to our system on tomorrow. Currently, there are seven people who will have to make change in order to make more general. There had already been some more buffs to Warrior, rather the Arms spec, but the team posted their official forums on Monday afternoon to list a few more changes which were coming.

Warrior

Arms

  • Deep Wounds are no longer reduced in PvP combat (was 28 percent reduced).
  • Mortal Strike damage has increased by five percent in PvP combat (twenty percent).
  • Bladestorm damage increased at 40 percent in combat against PvP (70 percent).
  • Fatal Mark is often a max of five times in PvP combat (was eight times).
  • Execute damage increased by 15 percent in PvP combat.

Protection

  • In PvP fighting, the death toll increased by 15 percent.

These changes were an expansion of the increased damages Blizzard already intended to give Warrior; they follow a trend of PvP change that will increase the damage done by numerous classes and decrease the healing and survivability mechanics of others. This aims to shorten the time of ejecting into the arena and the battlefields.

This change is coming in the middle of Dragonflight season 2 of July, which began on the 9th of May. Blizzard hasn’t announced the date of the third dragonflight season yet, but there are many who hope that it’ll be sometime in November.
